I've been there and it's not fun. My strategy over the past few years seems to be working for me, basically it's really simple what I do. I reward my important habits with fun things to keep the balance. (i.e. when I finish half of my daily tasks I watch a tv show). Also very important to listen to your body specially when it comes to sleep and rest, but that's much harder lol
