The Trap Everyone Falls Into

Please don't fall in it...

Hey you! 🌟

You know, as I was sipping my morning coffee (and maybe dropping a little on my shirt because who can actually drink without spilling? 🙈), I found myself thinking about a misstep we ALL do as creators.

And yes, I've been guilty of this too.

It's called "The Quicksand of Reflection." No, it's not the title of my next bestselling novel (though... hmm, idea alert! 😉).

But it's this tricky little quicksand pit we sometimes, unknowingly, put our feet into.

Imagine this: You're on a journey to a hidden treasure. You're excited, map in hand, and you take that bold step towards it.

But before you realize, you've stepped into this subtle pit – a quicksand of overthinking and overanalyzing. 🌪️

Initial thought? “Hey, this is just some harmless contemplation, right?”

Oh, but like an unplanned Netflix binge, you soon find yourself sinking deeper. Each thought pulls you further down, and the treasure feels miles away. 😱

• Overanalyzed a hook for your post? Quicksand!

• Deleted that video because you thought it wasn't 'perfect'? Quicksand!

• Hesitated to launch that course because you kept tweaking? Yup, quicksand!

And here's the thing: The more you wriggle and think in there, the deeper you sink. Until, you're chest-deep, yelling for a lifeline. (P.S. No judgment, been there, done that, got the t-shirt.)

But there's good news. Escape is possible.

You see, in the vast desert of content creation, every step you take – no matter how small – pulls you out of this deceptive sandtrap:

• Jotted down a blog idea? Publish it.

• Got a draft for a podcast? Record it.

• Shot a quirky behind-the-scenes? Show it.

Your mantra? “Done is better than perfect.”

Remember, the world doesn’t need perfect. It needs authentic. It needs YOU.

As the fantastic Lena Situations (one of the most famous content creator in France) puts it: "It's not perfect, but it's done with heart." 💛

So, pull your foot out of that quicksand, dust off those fears, and take a leap.

After all, the world is sitting at the edge of its seat, popcorn in hand, eagerly waiting for what YOU have to offer.
