1. Ditch the App: Yes, you read that right. I went nuclear and deleted Twitter from my phone. Instead, I switched to using a computer for all my Twitter activities. (Don't worry, I didn't throw my phone out the window! 😅)
2. App Limiter to the Rescue: If the thought of deleting the app gives you cold sweats, meet your new best friend - the app limiter. Set a daily limit for your Twitter time and stick to it. It's like a digital parent telling you when to stop. Or you could use OneSec to add friction using the app.
3. Say Hello to TweetDeck: Use TweetDeck and create lists with valuable accounts only. This way, you can engage with tweets that truly matter, cutting down the noise. It's like your personal Twitter DJ, playing only the tunes you love.
4. Time Blocking: This one's a game-changer. Allocate 30 minutes, 3 times a day exclusively for Twitter. It's enough to tweet, retweet, engage, and even sneak in a few laughs at those hilarious Twitter memes.
5. Handle FOMO: Now, this one's a bit tricky. The Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) is real, but remember, Twitter is a tool for our business, not the other way around. If you're not around every time someone tweets, the Twitterverse won't implode. Promise!
Implementing these changes has given me more time, less stress, and even better results on Twitter. It's like finding a cheat code to the game!
