My process to create a $10k digital product

Today I wanted to talk about launching a digital product
Iām full in recording the video & sharing the behind the scene of creating a product is fascinating.
Because letās face itā¦
You canāt tell ChatGPT āhey, create a digital product in my niche that will sell wellā
Itās not how things work here š
We are here to help people, transform their life, their business & have an impact.
AI is not our BFF hereā¦
So here are the 5 steps I have been through to help people create impactful content in less time than a Friends episode:
(& how you can do the same!)
1 - Validate the idea
You have to speak with your audience. You can have some ideas but you need validation from them.
If you start by building on assumption, you have already lost.
Who better than your audience to tell you which product they are craving for?
If you have been on social media for a couple month now, you know how crucial it is to engage with them
They are going to tell what they want in DM, comments, during callsā¦
Your next digital product idea is there.
Once you have the idea, start doing some calls to find out more about their precise needs.
Calls are the best way to din in the most profound pain points & the one that will make your product go from average to exceptional.
During this call, you are going to let people talk.
You are here for listening to their current situation, what they are experiencing right now, how they feel, what are their most painful problemsā¦
Take a ton of notes because itās where the modules, the components of your product are here
If you can, record the calls too. This way you can give the transcript to ChatGPT & let him do the summarize job for you (AI is not bad during this process but donāt let him in charge of everything š)
You should take at least 10 people on call to get a 360Ā° view on their pain points & outline the perfect transformation promise
You are like Sherlock trying to map out the journey of your audience.
Once done, you can talk about your ideas at the end of the call or in email.
The aim is to make them want to join the beta testing phase.
If you succeed to making 50% of your call joining the beta-testing, your offer is validated
Little disclaimer about the beta testing ā It must be always paid.
This way, people are engaged, they are more likely to consume the content, provide constructive feedback & even become your first ambassadors
ā So now you have validated your product idea congrats! š„³
Itās time to move on ā¤µļø
2 - Build the product in public
This stage has 2 advantages: build anticipation in your audience because you create it with them & prove your authority.
Donāt withhold any information about your current process.
Share everything what you are doing, how you are doing it, any questions you might have!
Spoiler alert: I havenāt been the best at it ahahah š
But Iām working on it & being like an open book for our audience can change a ton of things.
In the end, they need to think āwow, itās exactly what I need!ā on the sales page & āwow there is much more than I expectedā by overdelivering in your product
The different phase I have been through to build it:
outline precisely the different module
outline the different chapter + workbooks
Create support if you want (I have used slides because it really helps to convey even more the writing process)
Record yourself
Put it online
It sounds like easy but it takes really a lot of timeā¦ It took me over 2 months to create itā¦
Maybe if I havenāt done any support it would have been faster to create.
Itās also about the quality of the product & the experience you want to give to your audience
I have also decided to add a lifetime group coaching, a private community with easy access to myself & all the different update it will have.
This little difference in my offer will help to make it stand out in this crowded space.
People are tired of shitty products, of the copy & paste ChatGPT products.
If you want to sell your product in the future without a ton of promotion & on autopilot, create a stunning product.
Your clients will sell it for you!
3 - Test it with your beta tester
You can even drip access to your product, meaning, they will get one module per week, one chapter per day. Itās up to you!
Or give a full access from day one.
I personally wanted to give a full access from day 1 but it has taken me a ton of time to deliver. If I have to do it again, I will give access module per module to not make my beta tester wait too long.
Collect all the feedback they will give you
Improve whatās need to be improved
Add any extra resources, workbook, community they are asking you.
The aim is to get ready for the launch & make the perfect product for your larger audience to buy.

4 - Collect social proof
Once you have done all the necessary improvement, itās time to collect the reviews.
Social proof is a crucial element of your sales page.
We all are more likely to listen to someone else experience than listening to the creator, the business owner.
Thatās why also Trustpilot & TripAdvisor are so popular! (who havenāt check Tripadvisor before eating in a new restaurant?! š )
If you can get video feedback, itās even more precious!
Your potential clients will connect even better & deeper with your beta tester & other clients.
Save it also to your wall of love because it will also be useful forā¦
5 - The launch
& here we go! The most exciting & stressful part!
By now, you have the perfect product your audience is craving for.
Your launch is like a Monopoly strategy:
Everything must be prepared
no strategy is better than another, you have to choose yours & see whatās your audience like & what you can
Webinar good & bad
from your sales page, your email sequence, your social contentā¦
You have to lead people to the buying decision.
During the launch you have to:
share with people the transformation you are offering
the best feedback you got from your beta tester
show the benefits & not the features
add scarcity to make people take action (it could be time-bound, a special bonus you removeā¦)
be fully available for all the question people can haveā¦

Also this works well to build any services!
You can go through the same phases to build an outstanding service that people will buy without a doubt.
Sorry for this long email, but I wanted to give a ton of value & share everything I have done to come up with my mentorship program.
You donāt have to go this depth if you want to create a low ticket product, but taking the time to speak with your audience will always be rewarded.
