If they decide to delete, shadow-ban or ban you, they can.

The soonest you start your email list, the better it is!
Plus, it’s an incredible way to foster a deeper relationship with your audience!
Let’s dive into the best way to build your email list from scratch & effectively
1 - Create the best lead magnet on the market
👉 You have to give a reason for people to share their email.
For this, you need to create a lead magnet, but not another boring checklist or common templates.
You don’t have to reinvent the wheel, but you need to deliver value.
The creator economy is more & more competitive
You really need to stand out quickly & win some points with your audience.
Remember that your lead magnet is the first step towards your paid offers.
If you mess with it, people are really unlikely to buy it.
& for those who are delivering a 5min Loom video, I see you, stop it, now.
👉 The aim here is to under promise & overdeliver. How?
Simply by not withholding information.
Apply “the give first mindset”.
The more you give, the more you will receive at some point.
👉 So what makes a good lead magnet?
It must create a small transformation in your client’s journey
It must bring a ton of value of course
It must create this ahah moment
There is no better format or way to deliver it but you really need to stop the AI-generated content, checklist or whatever.
I think my lead magnets brought me 90% of my current email list.
I have created over 10 different ones to find out which one is working better.
& I’m planning to release even more in the upcoming weeks.
It’s an ongoing exercise we have to do to gather qualified leads in our email list
Since I have finished my Easy Impactful Content Lab, I really need to create new lead magnet in that way.
When you create yours, try to map your customer journey, which mean:
visualize a funnel:
At the top, people don’t really know you, they have seen your content, they like it.
At the middle, people have more consideration for yourself & decide to optin to get your lead magnet.
At the bottom, you convince them to buy your offer.
Ask you what’s their pain points that bring them logically to my paid offer & answer them in your lead magnet.
2 - Substack recommendations
I’m using Substack to send my newsletter.
(as you have already seen 😂)
This tool has a ton of advantage:
Your readers can access to previous editions
Your readers can easily engage with it
It’s totally free to use if you don’t want to create a paid newsletter
Your readers can recommend your Substack to their readers within one clicks!
It’s where the true power of Substack lies.
& it’s how you can get many more subscribers inside your list
Over 15 creators are recommending mine & got me new qualified leads coming every week.
3 - Talk about it
You can expect people to find your lead magnet by themselves
You have to promote it!
For this, you need to create a strong CTA.
Ditch all the download my ebook in bio because:
it’s not specific
it’s not based on benefits
it’s bland & don’t had value for the readers
& you are increasing the friction because people need to take multiple step to reach it
Instead, you can simply add the links in comments, enable auto-plug on Twitter, use ManyChat for Instagram…
There are a ton of ways to do it without complexing the process for your reader.
👉 Try to keep your lead magnet one click away.
That’s the best way to actually make people optin.
Don’t be shy either (for those we don’t know what you are doing!)
Not 100% of your followers is actually seeing your post.
On average, only 30% is seeing it. So don’t be scared to talk about it multiple time during the week.
Of course, don’t spam them, but let them know you have created a valuable resource for them & what it can change in their life.
